  • What Brand of Sealant Is Recommended For Filling Holes After Drilling in RV Roof
  • The LaSalle Bristol XTRM Universal Self-Leveling Sealant part # 34427034145-1 is what we use whenever we have to drill holes into a trailer and seal them after. It can be used for pretty much anything from roof vents to just general repair. It works very well to keep out water and is really a must to have on hand for trailer owner's.

  • Recommended Repair For Staples That Poke Through RV Roof
  • You could remove the roof to fix the staples but that would require a ton of work and can be costly, which is why Alpha said it would be overkill. You could just hammer the staples back down and just use some self leveling sealant like the Alpha Systems 1021 Self-Leveling Sealant for RVs - White - 10.3oz - Qty 1 # AL98KV to cover the holes for a watertight seal.

  • Highest CFM Rated RV Roof Vent with Smoke Lens
  • The best option we have is the MaxxFan Deluxe Roof Vent w/ 12V Fan, Thermostat, and Remote # MA00-07500K which is the smoke color you want, has the highest CFM rating of 900, and comes with a remote. It is power lift though which is going to be the only way since you wanted the other features. There isn't a similar fan with everything else but with a manual lift. The MaxxFans are really reliable though and I would not anticipate the lift feature giving you problems.

  • Solution for Leaking Roof on 2005 Pop-Up Camper
  • That is not a fun thing to walk into when opening up your camper for the season! Based on the damage shown in the picture you attached I recommend simply replacing the affected ceiling inside the camper with a whole new section of material. Then to repair the roof and prevent this type of leakage from happening again I recommend installing new roof membrane with the LaSalle Bristol # 3441700534142711430. You can then add the LaSalle Bristol Roof Installation Kit # 3442703414KIT that includes...

  • Availability of Roof Vent for 13" x 13" Rough Roof Opening
  • All of our standard roof vents, such as the Ventline Ventadome # V2092SP-28, are designed to install into a 14" x 14" or 14-1/4" x 14-1/4" rough opening. This is the standard vent size for trailers and RVs so I'm not aware of one that is designed for a 13" square opening. Unfortunately your only option is going to be to try and expand the existing cutout on the trailer to accommodate a new vent like this. This will also make it easier to replace the unit down the line or even upgrade...

  • Solution for Damaged Atwood RV Levelers on RV
  • We do not repair levelers at this time and since Atwood is no longer in the leveler business it would be time for a new setup like with the Lippert # LC337199. There isn't anyone that we know of that repairs them and their replacement parts are no longer available.

  • Can I Mount A Heater And AC Unit On The Top Of My Cross Trailer.
  • I would go with the Advent Air RV Air Conditioner w/ Air Distribution Box, Start Capacitor, and Heat Strip - 15,000 Btu # ACM150CH. You will need to make sure your trailer roof is capable of holding this unit(94 pounds) and the people who will be installing it. In the area it will be installed it will need a roof thickness of at least 2-1/2 inches to mount and a 14x14 inch hole. You will see in the videos attached how to accomplish this. It has a heat strip that can put out 5,500 BTUs...

  • Should I Use 1/8" or 3/16" Thick Butyl Tape for RV Side Window Installation/Repair
  • The 1/8" thick tape is most common for side window installation and repairs so I recommend the Alpha Systems Butyl Tape for RV Weatherproofing part # AL42FJ for this. It can always be doubled up if needed. I recommend the 3/16" thick tape like the Alpha Systems Butyl Tape for RV Weatherproofing part # AL33FJ for rooftop installation and repairs. The thicker tape is sometimes needed for more uneven surfaces whereas the sides of the trailer are usually pretty smooth so you can use the thinner...

  • I do have exterior ladder options for your customer's 2002 Beaver Marquis Motorhome but none of them are going to do everything you need them to out of the box. I have attached a list of our options for you below. The only exterior ladder we have in black is the Stromberg Carlson RV Exterior Ladder part # LA-401BA which only measures 99-1/2" tall. • Is One MaxxAir MaxxFan Deluxe # MA00-07500K Enough to Ventilate 24 Foot Enclosed Trailer
  • MaxxAir MaxxFan Deluxe - Smoke Item # MA00-07500K is rated to move 900 cubic feet of air per minute which is pretty darn good for a roof vent/fan. But considering that you are using the trailer for small engine repair it would be a good idea to add a second one to help vent out the fumes associated with automotive repair.
